Ventura Plein Air Invitational 2017

The Ventura Plein Air Invitational is gearing up for the big event October 1 - 8. Regional artists will be painting "en plein air" (outside!) for a week and exhibiting their work at D.A. Davidson's beautiful gallery space in Ventura.

"Sneaky Pete" by Anette Power. Best of Show for the Ventura Plein Air Invitational 2016. Okay...egg on face. When you have a bunch of artists running an event, trying to paint and organize things...some things can slip through the cracks. A major thing that slipped through the cracks was our "Best of Show" from last year: Anette Power . She is such an incredible artist (and a lot of fun!) Anette isn't painting with us this year - an opportunity came up for her that she couldn't resist, but we hope she joins us next year! Join us at an artist reception at DA Davidson Saturday, October 4, 2017 from 3 - 5 pm to find out who will win Best of Show for 2017. Also, vote for People's Choice from our Quick Draw competition last Sunday.
