Great Start to our Ventura Plein Air Invitational
Overcast day at Ventura Harbor did not stop artists from producing beautiful and paintings. Painted in only 2 hours during the Quick Draw event, these works of art are now on display at D.A.Davidson & Co. Gallery for viewing and purchasing. It was gray day and the paintings really popped in contrast. I chose to paint a scene of a yellow boat floating against the purple-gray water.....complementary colors in action!
